Open Skate for Family Fun

One of our favorite things to do as a family when we have a free day is go to one of our local ice rinks for an Open Skate.

Open Skates are sessions held at ice rinks open to the public, allowing anyone to ice skate for a small fee. The experience of the skaters is always a wide range. They often have skate helpers to assist the younger skaters.

In the northern suburbs, Glacier Ice Arena and Top Shelf both offer Public Skates. Check out their websites for a calendar of upcoming Open Skates.
