Apple Holler
Sturtevant, WI
Most years we go apple picking at the height of Honeycrisp apple season. This year we didn’t have time in September with our busy schedule. We, however, thoroughly enjoyed picking apples at Apple Holler in the cooler weather in October.
We took some time to enjoy the Farm Park when we first arrived. This kid area was much less busy on a Friday compared to the weekends. This area of the orchard is included with the purchase of apple-picking bags.
Then we headed to the tractor and wagon to go pick apples. The farm is over 70 acres so I recommend taking the wagon out to the orchard, especially with young kids. Tasting the variety of apple varieties while picking is encouraged!
Then we headed back to the Farm Store to grab some treats and Wisconsin goodies.
