Captain Mike’s Fun Park

For the last four years, we have done a family vacation in Southwest Michigan. It is not a far drive for us and has a lot of activities. One of our stops the last two years as the kids have gotten a little older is Captain Mike’s Fun Park.

Captain Mike’s Fun Park is a 5-acre Family Fun Park located off I-94 near the Warren Dunes State Park, so really easy to get to if you are staying in the Southwest Michigan area. They are only open for the summer. In addition, you pay for what activities each person wants to do.

The park offers two Go-Kart tracks. One track is called the Junior Go-Karts and is set up for ages five to ten. The other track requires drivers to be 54 inches tall but does allow children passengers.

We tried batting cages this year, which was a lot of fun for Dave. Still a little too fast for the boys to hit much.

One of the favorite activities at Captain Mike’s every year is the game room.

A couple of activities we didn’t have enough time for this trip were Bumper Boats, Bumper Cars, and Mini Golf. There is always next year!
