Nelis’ Dutch Village
Holland, MI
Nelis’ Dutch Village was a place to experience a little bit of the Netherlands and an amusement park. Plus various hands-on experiences for the kids and adults. The vibe of the Dutch Village is laid back and fun.
Learn about Dutch Culture
You are given the option to try on dutch shoes! They have a variety of sizes for the family to try on and see what it feels like to wear wooden shoes.
Along with vintage buildings that give you a feel of what it felt like in the Netherlands.
Rides
There are wonderful antique rides at Dutch Village that are perfectly suited for younger kids and to have fun together on as a family.
Petting Farm
Stop by the animal barn to feed a goat or rabbit.
Photo Ops
There are multiple places on the grounds for photo ops the kids will enjoy doing.
Food
At the Hungry Dutchman Cafe, there are Dutch food options and more traditional kid food. They even have local craft beers on tap at the Thirsty Dutchman Pubto try a beer tasting served in a wooden shoe.
If staying in Southwest Michigan I highly recommend Nelis’ Dutch Village for a day trip for your family. Year after year we go back and have fun!
