Weko Beach Campground

Weko Beach Campground was our first experience “camping” as a family of five. I say camping in quotes because we stayed in a basic one-room cabin, not a tent. The campground included access to beautiful Weko Beach located on Lake Michigan.

The Weko Beachhouse gives you easily accessible bathrooms and the opportunity to buy snacks. Including soft-serve ice cream cones!

There are seven one-room cabins available to rent as well as tent and RV sites. The one-room cabin only included a set of bunk beds and a full-size bed. Other than that it had a nice porch to store items on. I couldn’t see myself staying here for days, but it was a great option for us to camp for one night.

There are great trails and built-in stairs around the campground and beach to get astonishing views of the lake.
